Sennta: Beginning Legend (Background)

In the world of Pokemon, multitudes of different pocket monsters, or Pokemon for short, inhabit the universe and fill up the several different regions that cover their world. In the mountains, rivers, plains, deserts, and in the deepest parts of the ocean. Anywhere you could imagine. So why... why is this region, so barren?

The traveler asked himself that single question over and over. A young boy, only fifteen years old, wandering a land he had somehow discovered in his exploration of the sea. He beached on the cove of a new region, no doubt, but for some reason not a single Pokemon was in sight. It took only but two weeks before he stumbled upon the greatest destruction he had ever seen. A large, steeming crater. It was seemingly endless, the way it dropped into the earth's crust. It was at least eight kilometers wide, and the entire area was giving off a horribly foul smell.

He wasn't too concerned, however, for there were seemingly hundreds of people populating the edges of this hole. He walked down the cliffside he was on to get a closer look at the "civilians." They all were dressed in funky, tight black suits with tall platform shoes, a fiery red color. They wore strange gloves, the same fiery red, and all their hair was done up the same way. The girls had high ponytails tied up in big fiery ribbons, while the boys had shaved, bright red Mohawks (reference). They all were carrying large heavy buckets of some red liquid, pouring it over the side into the hole. It seemed pointless, except for the odd mummbled roars that would roll of the walls of the cavity every few minutes.

They continued this odd cycle for hours, and hours, until it was dark and they all made their way inside. The boy decided to search around. He sneaked over to the edge, past the picket fence and strange looking guards. He stared down into the abyss and couldn't believe what stared back at him...
