Pokemon Trainer Class System
_____________________________________________________
Pokemon TrainerA
Pokémon Trainer (Japanese:
ポケモントレーナー Pokémon Trainer) is a person who catches, trains, cares for and battles with Pokémon. The majority of people within the known Pokémon world are Trainers. Many Trainers leave home at about the age of ten, sometimes accompanied with a starter Pokémon obtained from a Pokémon Professor, such as Oak. Many will travel around one or more regions, doing such things as gathering information for a Pokédex, perfecting their technique, collecting Badges, and working to become a Pokémon Master. No matter what their specialties or aims, there is one code that they all follow—when two Trainers make eye contact, they must have a battle.
Pokemon Coordinator:A
Pokémon Coordinator (Japanese:
ポケモンコーディネーター Pokemon Coordinator) is someone who raises Pokémon to compete in Pokémon Contests. Instead of, like the traditional Pokemon Trainer, gaining pokemon gym badges, they aspire to collect contest ribbons and compete in the 'Grand Festival.'
Pokemon Breeder:A
Pokémon Breeder (Japanese:
ポケモンブリーダー Pokémon Breeder) is primarily a Pokémon Trainer who raises and mates carefully selected Pokémon to reproduce specific improvements in future generations of Pokémon, such as moves, individual values, or Natures. Pokemon Breeders have often performed the tasks of both the Pokemon Trainer and the Pokemon Coordinator, exercising extreme precision and often knowing much about pokemon themselves. Often their goal is to start their own business or daycare, and become a world wide known breeder.
Pokemon Connoisseur:A
Pokémon Connoisseur (Japanese:
ポケモンソムリエ Pokémon Sommelier) or Pokémon Connaisseuse is a Pokémon Trainer who specializes in identifying the compatibility between Pokémon and their Trainers, much like how real connoisseurs and sommeliers identify the compatibility between wines and various foods, as well as the fine arts. They use their knowledge and experience to diagnose the bond between Trainer and Pokémon, and from there give advice on how to strengthen that bond. They can also help choose what Pokémon would be compatible for beginning Trainers who have not yet chosen their first Pokémon. Connoisseurs normally obtain a top rank as a Professor's assistant, helping trainers find a pokemon compatible with them to start with.
Team Univ:Team Univ is a group of baddies who only wish harm on the people and pokemon of Sennta. Some people say they are the people behind the destruction of the land in the first place, but it's still undecided. It doesn't matter anyways, their list of crimes goes on and on. All the way from simple robberies to murder (pokemon and people). Although their simple grunts may be unintelligent and easy to defeat, they are a giant team, and definitely not a force one person could take down alone. If you wish to join them, you take on the responsibility of their crimes and their evil deeds.
Civilian:A Civilian is simply someone who doesn't train pokemon. That means, anything from merchant, to blacksmith, to fangirl. These people don't play a huge part in the Pokeverse, admittedly, but do add a touch of balance to the fantasy.
Ghost:The deceased, passed away, or even hell spawn that have risen from the grave (including demons). Ghosts are limited in that they can't really just jump into any story without the trainer's permission, as ghosts can have a tendency to be OP. Outside of that, they generally can't interact with the material world too much, and would have troubles using any Pokemon that wasn't a ghost type outside of a pokeball already.
Only players who have died can become ghosts (you MUST pm a mod for approval first).More classes may be added later as time goes on and the story progresses.
